With the development of the aerospace and defense industries, high-strength/high-elasticity materials with excellent properties such as conductivity, heat resistance, dimensional stability, and chemical resistance as lightweight materials are needed. Conventional carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) is made by impregnating 40 carbon fibers of at least 0.25 mm with epoxy to produce a 10 mm CFRP plate, and then laminating them as a single fiber fabric product, so it was difficult to improve the weight and manufacturing cost while maintaining the same strength in a plate manufactured with CFRP.
To overcome this, by inserting 2 mm honeycomb polyester between the basic carbon fiber layers and laminating them, the weight was reduced by 20% compared to the existing one, and the manufacturing cost was reduced by 20% compared to the existing one while maintaining the same strength. This allows for efficient and optimized CFRP plate manufacturing and Robot Hand processing, which can provide various competitive advantages.
Yesum, which holds its own patent, produces semiconductor production ROBOT HAND products and automobile plates, and uses its own equipment to produce CFRP materials with large volume, high specific gravity, high strength, and high toughness.
